Don’t Text!

Legal tip of the day: don’t send incriminating text messages. Text messages are “discoverable” meaning that they can be brought in to court. This is all situation dependent but as a general rule do not send texts that incriminate yourself either criminally or texts that suggest liability in a civil case. As a personal injury lawyer who litigates car accidents, I see this a lot.
