Advocacy For Elders and Children

When we talk about marginalized communities in America, several groups seem to dominate the media. Racial groups, LGBTQIA2S+ communities, religious groups, and socioeconomically disadvantaged groups.

But within all these marginalized communities exist subgroups of even more marginalized people who lack advocacy.

Elders and Children are the two most marginalized groups of people in America. What’s especially concering about Elders and Children is that they have little to no advocacy.

Elders face a lot of adversity in society. Work discrimination, scams, coercion, sexual and physical abuse, and the list goes on. Children face similar adversity.

As a society we need to start focusing more on uplifting our Elders, our Children, and ensuring their voices are heard in the community.

As an Elder Law lawyer, I focus my practice on working within Elderly people’s budgets to consult them and deliver high quality estate plans and advice.
